September 11th has come and gone,
But the horror is here to stay;
Because of a cowardly act of terrorism,
Our brothers died this day.
They worked and raised their families,
Going quietly on their way;
But because of this act of terrorism,
Our brothers died this day.
We will never forget these honorable men,
Or their kind and generous ways;
Or the cowards who were the cause of
Our brothers dying this day.
When these brothers stand before their Creator,
With their earthly bonds set free;
May it be their portion to hear from Him,
“Welcome Home, Take My Hand, Follow Me.”
Let’s bow our heads in solemn prayer,
For our brothers who have passed this way;
May God cradle them in His loving arms,
Our brothers who have died this day.
